2017 Budget Email to Mayor and Council of Turner Valley

Dear Mayor & Council, Turner Valley AB

 

On review of the 2017-2019 Operating & 2017-2021 Capital Draft budgets, we will be looking for the following  revisions:

 

  • Administration Budgets
  1. This is covering both Administration & Public Works, these need to be split, separate lines for Administration and Public works, to include how many FT/PT Employees for each .
  2. Consultants Expenses as a separate line.
  3. A minimum of a 15% reduction in Salary/Payroll Expenses
  4. No new hires for 2017/2018

 

  • No New Capital Expenses for 2017/2018 ( A moratorium until amalgamation is again reviewed and finalized with Black Diamond)
  • Reduction of Mill Rate by $2.00

 

Turner Valley Rate Payers Association is an organized voice for the Rate Payers of Turner Valley, We will be attending the Dec 19,2016 Council meeting and will be looking for Councils support for these revisions.
